11th Grade EasyBib Lesson
A subscription to EasyBib had recently been purchased for every student at Brunswick High. Several of the 11th grade English classes were either starting a research project or had one coming up in which students were required to cite sources and include a Works Cited list. I created and taught a lesson to introduce EasyBib to these students. I tailored the lessons by using examples for literature the students were currently studying or had recently studied. Thus there were three different lessons plans, but the only difference in the content was the articles used in my EasyBib project examples and in the articles and websites I choose for students to practice with. As the content of each of these lessons is the same, I have included only one of the lessons here.

Brunswick High library hangs posters around the library to provide a welcoming
environment. In keeping with that practice, I was asked to find additional posters
that would be appropriate for the library.

Weeding Project
During my internship, the BHS library was in the process of inventoring the collection. I continued that task, inventoring Fiction (from F-Z), DVDs (all), Reference Collection (all), and Non-Fiction (001-699). While working on the inventory I made note of books that were worn or out of date. I also made note of gaps in the fiction collection.
